About US

Taipá means abundance in Quechua language native to Peru, and this cool, hip, family type restaurant has an abundance of serving size, atmosphere, and cool staff including the owner Carlos who offered a hospitable greeting and cool vibe. Our waitress Haila was also cool and helpful.

My husband and I visited TAIPA in South Miami for the first time today, and it was an incredibly delightful experience. We were specifically craving chupe de camarones and stumbled upon TAIPA during our search.

You MUST try this place if you like Peruvian food. We’ve been here several times and love trying something new every time. Ceviches are SUPER fresh, and literally everything is DELICIOUS. The chef is amazing and the energy from the staff in general is super friendly and welcoming.

We love this place, we had been in several other Peruvian restaurants but this is by far our favorite. The food is amazing, every plate, no exception. The service is 5 stars too, every single member of the staff is great, they are always attentive if you need anything or just simple to refill your water.

This is my favorite Peruvian food restaurant! So many great dishes such a rachi, causa de pulpo, I recommend the aji amarillo ceviche, the seafood cilantro rice and the green spaghettis. Plus they have excellent spicy sauces!
